Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58

I received this encouragement recently from a faithful prayer partner, followed by the following: This can be an encouragement to all of us who "labor" for the Lord--sometimes just the daily walk can be discouraging.  In light of the Length-of-The-Gambia PrayerWalk, I took his words as coming directly from God.  May each of us hold the work God has put in our hands with confidence and joy that if nothing else, we are being obedient!

Your prayers are not in vain.  During this prayerwalk, for instance, the walkers have been asked to pray for Muslims preparing to go on the obligatory Hajj and invited to teach in several mosques.  All of this is done unabashedly in the name of the Messiah, Jesus.  Continue to pray that MNKs will be able to hear the truth; for we know the Truth will set them free!

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. – 1 Corinthians 1:18

Please let me know how I can assist you in becoming more knowledgeable about the Mandinka as you advocate on their behalf.
